Balance and Luxury Watches

luxury watchesTime passes continuously. It is good to be wary of this, though not too wary. That is, you want to be sure you’re making good use of your time by being industrious and persevering in whatever you have a passion for, you don’t want to look up and find yourself with gray hair and wrinkly eyes; nor do you want to be checking your Wittnauer watch every two minutes to see that things are progressing according to how you deem proper.

Life is all about balance. You need to wear a Wittnauer watch or Cartier watches to remind yourself that you should be active with your time, that you should always be making something of it, but you should also allow yourself to become oblivious once in a while, to forget and have fun. That can help you stop worrying and enjoy your free time after working so hard.

Once you’ve mastered that balance, you can start walking with a swagger and confidence that comes from an inner harmony as well as a unique outside style. Your Cartier watches or Wittnauer watches are fine accessories that tie your outfit together. When you can strap them on and smile at how good you look, then you’ve really achieved a balance.

What We Can Learn From Philip Larkin and Wittnauer Watches

wittnauer watchesAs any purveyor of luxury watches knows, we have memories of life before we wore our Wittnauer watch or before we gave to our loved one Cartier watches. Those memories sometimes flash upon us as beautiful or sad, and we must remember all of them, even the sad ones, if briefly.

This week, I’d like to highlight a poem by Philip Larkin, one of the 20th century’s greatest poets, to help us understand what it means to resign yourself to time, the time you’ve lived through, and the time yet to come:

Since the majority of me
Rejects the majority of you,
Debating ends forthwith, and we
Divide. And sure of what to do

We disinfect new blocks of days
For our majorities to rent
With unshared friends and unwalked ways,
But silence too is eloquent:

A silence of minorities
That, unopposed at last, return
Each night with canceled promises
They want renewed. They never learn.

Here, it is clear that we ought to learn from our memories, which in this case are represented by the minorities. In so doing, we can go ahead with the majority of our life, being happy. So that when you look at your Wittnauer watch and think about last September, or twenty Septembers ago, how the hands on the dial knew nothing more and nothing less, you can feel like you have grown.

Luxury Watches Balance Thoughts of Time

wittnauer watchesFuture. That period of time in which our affairs prosper, our friends are true and our happinesss is assured. -Ambrose Bierce

Past. That period of time in which we were happy, then sad, then naive.

Present. That period of time in which we are either worrying about the future, reliving past memories, or forgetting about both.

Which is your favorite? Are some people predisposed to thinking about one more than the other? The happiest are probably thinking about the future and the past least. The most successful are probably thinking about the future the most. Maybe. It’s hard to generalize.

The guy with the Cartier watches has figured out a good balance between the three. When he was younger he used to sift through his past to learn and apply to his present those lessons from mistakes he’d made, and then think about the trials in his future he would need to overcome. As a result he came to the formula of past, present, future, and applied it when he began to think about starting his own company.

Most people with luxury watches, such as Movado watches or Wittnauer watches know how to balance thinking and learning from the future, present and past. Take tips from them.

Why Wear Luxury Watches?

luxury watchesLuxury watches are supposed to help prevent worry. All worry is based on time, if you think about it, not having enough time to get something done, or waiting for too much time to pass before the event occurs. When we’re able to track time on our wrist, we become greater masters of our own time, and so we have less to worry about.

Luxury watches are also supposed to help you look classy. When you wear a Wittnauer watch, you can match it with the rest of your outfit and show it off at the office or at a club on Saturday night. Roman numerals are more traditional than Arabic, and can help you achieve a more mature look.

Your watches don’t even have to be luxury, they can be discounted watches that tell you the time. Wearing the time on your wrist offers a sense of propriety and organization and you will feel confident that you have your own individual style.

Like a bracelet, humans enjoy wearing watches because they contain the energy of an arm. Your personal space bubble is more insulated when you wear luxury watches. Watches offer us a sense of physical gravitas.

Are there any other reasons we wear watches?

Wittnauer Watches and Change

wittnauer watchesLuxury watches can help give you a grasp on time. They used to call a year a “twelvemonth.” Four seasons, funny how the passing of a year gives us more introspection, is part of our Circadian rhythm. If you’re waiting for something, waiting to make a grand life change, allow yourself a twelvemonth to see if you’re ready. We begin to view time according to our unconscious. Unless you wear a Wittnauer watch.

When you have luxury watches you can better understand what you’re doing with your time, because you wear it. Buy  a Wittnauer watch and wait a twelvemonth and remember how productive you were during that time.

Then remember what you were like before you had your Wittnauer watch. Were you more productive or less? Have your organization skills changed? What else has occurred in your life during the last year? Plenty, I’m sure. Things you hadn’t even expected to happen. Now you can look back on yourself as younger, more naive, less wise.

Life is funny that way. Looking forward to change involves patience. It is important to wear your Wittnauer watch with patience. You will then be able welcome the change when it comes and it will not seem so far away.

Why Luxury Watches Give You More Confidence

wittnauer watchIt’s time to get a watch. That way you can feel good about knowing the time, instead of like a weird techie who always pulls out his phone to know when to meet someone. It also offers gravity to your outfit. It’s like you took that extra time to show up, to put on your Wittnauer watch and accessorize and match it with the rest of what you’re wearing and feel good about it.

Because bare wrists are…naked. Would you feel more comfortable wearing a tanktop when meeting someone for the first time, or a dress shirt? Same thing goes for your wrist. Do you really want to bare it all, or do you want to show your taste and class by wearing fine luxury watches?

Not wearing a watch is too casual sometimes. It’s almost like not wearing a belt. So if you want to make better first impressions, know the time all the time, and generally feel more confident from having the equivalent of a collared shirt around your wrist, invest in a Wittnauer watch. Or Bulova watches. Or Movado watches. Any of those luxury watches will make your wrist shiny and bright and you will feel more confident wherever you go.

Make Time With a Wittnauer Watch

wittnauer watchTime enough, had we but world enough and time, this coyness, lady, were no crime. That’s from a poem called “To His Coy Mistress,” by Andrew Marvell, which is a standard carpe diem poem, which I wasn’t even thinking about until I wrote the first two words to this post.

Because I often dream of having time enough. Of having started something earlier when I was doing other things, the value of which I weigh at present and ask, was it worth it? Most of the time I’ll say yes, and just wish I didn’t have to sleep. Because if I didn’t have to sleep, boy oh boy, think of all the time I’d have on my hands. More time than I have already, even with the Wittnaeur watch that bejewels my wrist.

What would you do? Look at your Bulova wrist watch. What if instead of having eight hours at work, eight hours to play and socialize and eight hours to sleep, you had twelve at work and twelve at play? An extra four hours a day would make you that much better that much faster at what you do. That’s an extra twenty hours a week! Alas, we can only dream we had but time enough…

It’s time to make time. Having a Wittnauer watch or Bulova wrist watch makes it easier.

Discounted Watches From Latin Times

concord men watchIt is important to be familiar with the classics because it alerts you that what you’ve said is nothing new. The subject of time, for example, has long been discussed among us, long before luxury watches existed. We will make this post a Latin lesson, as we revisit some of the more famous axioms regarding time.

Tempus fugit non autem memoria (Time flies, however memory does not).

Brevis ipsa vita est sed malis fit longior ( Life is short but misfortunes make it longer).

Tempus neminem manet (Time waits for no one).

Tempora mutantur, nos et mutamur in illis (The times change, and we change with them).

Dum loquor, hora fugit (While I speak, the hour flies)-Ovid.

Many of these you may recognize, as they have devolved over thousands of years into cliches. But the quality of these words still rings true. Just think, Ovid learned all these lessons while reading time from sundials–imagine what he could have composed if he had a Wittnauer watch! So next time you look at your discount watches, remember that even without Tag Heuer watches, time marches on and the lessons you learn are just as applicable today as they were two thousand years ago.

What to Do After You Buy Luxury Watches

tag heuer watchesLuxury watches are like fine pieces of art. They take hundreds of hours of skilled craftmanship and don’t come cheap. There are lots of different styles and designs that appeal to everyone differently and you can’t just go out and buy one when you feel like it–you have to think about it for a while, turn over the options in your head and finally commit.

And when you do, you will have that feeling of pride and excitement, like you want to show off or just tell people about your new purchase without actually bragging, and you’re also secretly afraid of wearing it too much because you don’t want it to lose its newness so fast, or–goodness forbid–become damaged from too much wear and tear.

Don’t worry. You can be proud of your Tag Heuer watches and you probably shouldn’t wear them every day to preserve the newness. Tell your good friends and show them if you want, or don’t and see if they notice and compliment you. Accept their compliments gracefully and try not to smile too hard, because then they may think that you were searching for compliments and didn’t want to bring up the subject of your new watch to see if they would notice. Let them think whatever they want. You enjoy your new Concord men watch or Wittnauer watch.

Tag Heuer Watches: The Cause or The Effect of Happiness?

tag heuer watchesWhen you wear a Concord men watch something happens. It’s hard to describe.

Where does confidence come from? How does it arise? Is it always within you? Or is it just the opposite – does it come from external factors only?

I like to believe that it’s a combination of both. For example: let’s say you’re naturally pretty confident but you’re having a rough couple of months. Work is boring, your love life is stagnant and unfulfilling, and generally you’re looking over the brink of general melancholy, or what we like to call these days, depression. You remember the good times, when you were happy, in college, in your twenties and you want to get back to that place. So what do you do? You go out shopping for Tag Heuer watches.

Now here’s where it gets tricky. Once you buy the watch, you start feeling more confident, the way you used to. But is it because of the watch itself? Or is it because you use the watch as a pretext to regain those old feelings of confidence? Let me try that again. Does the name of the Tag Heuer watches make you happy? Or were you preparing to be happy by buying one of the Tag Heuer watches?
